Jane Zastro

Contract to Close Coordinator

Meet Our "Behind the Scenes Magician"

Hey there! I’m Jane Zastro, a past client of the McCallion’s, turned back office extraordinaire!! That’s right, the McCallion Team helped me find my home on Sanibel Island, and I loved them so much that I came to work with them three years later!

My job as the Contract to Close Coordinator at McCallion & McCallion is to ensure that others have the same great experience in the process of buying their island home as we did. Once you place a home under contract with one of our experienced agents, I step in to create a timeline of events that will guide you to a smooth closing on your property.

Having worked previously in the mortgage lending field, a law firm/title company, and as the Director of Operations for a consulting firm, learning the real estate side of the business has been a fun task! I can really appreciate all of the hard work it takes to close a real estate transaction here on island, and the above and beyond service we provide to our clients.

Aside from “businesswoman Jane,” I am also a proud mother of two sons, a beautiful grand-daughter and a hard-working husband. I like to think that my “main job” in life is to spoil my granddaughter, as most grandparents can relate I’m sure.

My family moved to Sanibel Island in 2014, just in time for my youngest son to start middle school at the Sanibel School. We had vacationed on Sanibel for a number of years, and were thrilled at the opportunity to move here full time when my husband entered the wonderful world of working from home. What better place to call home than Sanibel!?

I enjoy everything you do about the islands… boating, fishing, biking, and the community spirit. We’ve met so many great neighbors and friends, including one who gifted us a 1953 Packard Clipper that we enjoy cruising the island with and attending the SanCap Motor Club car shows.

Another fun fact: My parents own and operate a 200-acre cattle ranch in the Florida Everglades, which I frequent often. I love photographing the unique wildlife on their property, including deer, raccoons, rabbits, birds, and of course, gators. It’s a great place for my siblings and the whole family to get together and hang out each holiday.
