Meet Our "Chief Information Wrangler"
Hi! My name is Jude and I’m a proud mom of two children and beach-lover at heart. My husband, Justin, and I moved to Sanibel Island in 2020 when we decided not to wait until we’re retired to find our dream home. We’re SO GLAD we made the move to this amazing, small-town island community.
My love for the beach started when I was my own kids age. I grew up in South Jersey and would vacation at my uncle’s house on the Jersey Shore with fond memories of playing at the beach with all of my cousins.
In 2006, my husband and I visited Sanibel after learning about the wonderful seashells that lined the beach. Three years later we got married at West Wind Inn on Sanibel and vacationed here every year until we made the big plunge in 2020. My kids have attended the local Children’s Education Center of the Islands (CECI), and my daughter starts at the Sanibel School this year. The island is such a great place to raise young kids and we’re happy to have already found a number of other families with young children on the island.
I am a proud alumnus of Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ. I spent 10+ years in Human Resources working in benefits administration and have also worked on and off in the title industry assisting my mother’s practice in NJ.
Here at McCallion & McCallion, I help maintain the Sanibel office and keep all of the moving gears greased and running smoothly. Keeping up with Susan’s schedule is a full-time job in itself! But I enjoy the challenge, and I love sharing my passion for Sanibel with other families that are looking to relocate or purchase a vacation home here on island.
Fun Facts About Jude
I am a huge Freddie Mercury fan! We’ve seen the Queen musical We Will Rock You five times already and attended a handful of other concerts over the years. We’ve also had the unique opportunity to cruise to Antarctica and take in the jaw-dropping sights of stunning icebergs and playful penguins.
Last but not least, I love miniature schnauzers! I’ve fostered for a schnauzer rescue group when we lived in Maryland and hope to begin again now that we’re settled into our Sanibel home.
