Last year, Susan won the “Best of the Islands” award for Best Real Estate Agent of Sanibel and Captiva Islands. This award came as a complete shock to Susan and the team, as we had just started operating as our own brokerage just a few months prior.
Thrilled with the nomination, Susan was extremely grateful for the residents who voted for her over more than 350 Realtors who practice on the Islands. “It was a real eye-opener for me,” Susan highlights. “It am truly honored that my neighbors and fellow island residents voted me as Best Real Estate Agent for 2014.”
Since last year’s award, Susan has been busier than ever with growing the brokerage, matching home seekers and sellers with the perfect solution, caring for her family and being a full-time mother of four! In the past year, Abby (the youngest) has graduated pre-school, Caitlin has preformed as Cinderella in the Sanibel School play, Andrew has been accepted into a great middle school, and Emily (the oldest) has completed her Freshmen year at Fort Myers High with straight A’s throughout the year!
“I love having a family business where my parents and my kids can pop-by the office at anytime,” Susan exclaims. “Sanibel has the perfect small-town, relaxed atmosphere for raising my family and growing my business at the same time.”
The residents of Sanibel and Captiva Islands make up the tight-knit community that is unlike any place in the Florida. The Islands are truly a special place to live and work. “Jim and I are continuously amazed at the generosity and support of the Sanibel community,” Susan continues. “From the nomination of this award, to our grand opening in our new office back in January, we have been overcome with love and support from residents and businesses on the islands.”
As the Best of the Islands competition for 2015 draws near, Susan would love for you to Help Her Keep The Title! “I’d be honored if you would vote for me again in this year’s Best of the Island competition,” she says grinning ear to ear. “It would mean a lot to win the award two years in a row.”
