By The Sea is a fairly small development with only 18 units in the community. Situated in the mid-island area of Sanibel, By The Sea is located directly on the beach and enjoys views of the Gulf of Mexico. Built in 1982, the complex offers floor plans up to 2100 square feet in size.

Pets are allowed at By The Sea, based on the latest information we have, but you need to check with the condo association what the exact restrictions are, as these can change over time.

By The Sea has elevators in at least some of the buildings. This is significant as many condos on our islands lack elevators and this can be an important feature to some. After enjoying all that our islands have to offer, this complex has a swimming pool for you to cool off and relax. For those of you that like playing tennis, By The Sea features onsite tennis courts.
