Near Beach Sanibel Condos
If you’re looking for condos that are on the beach or near the beach, the east end of the island is where you’ll find a number of options. Below, we’ve included a link to all of the condos that are currently listed for sale and are marked as “Gulf front” or “near beach” in our MLS.

Near Beach Sanibel Single Family Homes
Near beach Sanibel single-family homes are sprinkled throughout the island. Towards the lighthouse, you’ll find a few streets of homes that are within walking distance to the beach. On the west end, there are direct Gulf-front homes and others within walking distance. Here’s a peek at what’s listed in our MLS as “Gulf front” or “near beach”.
How Far Is Too Far?
Determining how far from the beach is “too far” is something we suggest you do on your next visit to the island. Visit a few communities that interest you and do a “practice walk” to the beach!
Keep in mind, Sanibel is a very bike-friendly island. Many beach access points have bike racks available. Also, island residents can obtain a beach parking permit which allows you to park at a number of permit-only parking areas throughout the island.
