Sunset Captiva: Captiva’s Most Affordable Homes

Sunset CaptivaReal Estate on Captiva Island is both sought after and limited in quantity. Predictably, single family homes on this resort island are expensive. The homes in the Sunset Captiva development are some of Captiva’s most affordable homes. Sunset Captiva is a development of 59 closely spaced, single family homes that share amenities including a pool, beach access, tennis courts and a boat dock.

Sunset Captiva Homes for Sale

Unlike Sanibel, where single family homes require 1 month or longer rentals, Sunset Captiva homes may be rented weekly. This makes owning a Sunset Captiva home an interesting alternative to owning a Sanibel gulf front condo.

Most Sunset Captiva homes are a short 1-5 minute walk to the beach, whereas, similar priced condos on Sanibel can have direct gulf frontage. However, Sunset Captiva is in the Captiva village area, adjacent to Andy Rosse Lane and a short stroll to great Captiva dining and shopping. The boat dock is a rare amenity that can be reserved by owners and guests that bring their own boats.
